other working title - cinco DIPyoLO
(seriously. how are some of my friends JUST finding out what "yolo" means?)
original plan for last saturday - get tickets to the diplo show at the MOCA and rage all night...
that didn't exactly happen as the online presale tickets were gone in less than a minute. blah oh well. still decided to spend the day in LA and hit up the LA Transmission exhibit, curated by Mike D of the beastie boys (RIP adam yauch). i didn't exactly know what to expect, but after last year's amazing
art in the streets showcase, i was hoping for another mind-blowing experience. and while there were some great installations, i honestly felt a little underwhelmed upon exiting. blah oh well again. at least it was free and i still had a great time chillin with friends for the day.

almost everything was motion media, hence most of these photos (and the stuff that's being held prisoner in my hard drive) aren't the best representations of what the exhibit had to offer
anyhow, spent the rest of the afternoon hanging out at senor fish
celebrated the cinco of may with mexi food and margaritas water for me!

yum
oh. and we still ended up catching diplo =) AWESOME UNPLANNED RANDOM DAY NIGHT HOLIDAY.
