THE CATCH - KAGURA - GOONG / R BAR - MEDUSA - SKRILLEX
the real reason for this random post was the urge to display this photo from my #CoachellaFridays instagram series, something i'm doing to just reminisce and stay hyped (62 more days!!!). the photo itself may not be my greatest achievement, but below is cesar's amazing captioning skills that perfectly encapsulates the spirit of coachella. that rare moment that you and your friend can always share and never forget. and while the sentiment may not mean much to others who weren't there to experience it, it means the world to us. #keepintouchbestfriendsforever

Was that the same DJ/tent that we found on Day 1? When we were walking toward the Sahara tent? We were leaving the main stage because Ms. Lauryn Hill was a bit too relaxed. We were simply too amped up to stay sitting. On the way back I stopped to buy a frozen lemonade and a churro. Mesmerized at the amazing mix coming from the tent 20 feet away we proceeded to immediately run in and go berzerk. I remember one of us yelled we couldn't believe how insane the DJ's were and that the tent was pretty much empty besides us and like 10 other people. Within 2 minutes the place was PACKED, the music having drawn other audiophiles to the tent like moths to a flame. The DJ's fist pumpin' and the girls on stage spraying us with Super Soakers, the crowd went wild jumping and dancing in primal joy. We looked at each other smiling knowing that this was what Coachella was about. No clue where we were or who we were with, or even who the hell was on stage but the sheer AWESOMENESS of the music and energy of the crowd swept us up and away. Surrounded by strangers, intoxicated by the realization that WE WERE AT COACHELLA, we stopped being Cesar and Brian and became the spirit of Coachella that had filled thousands of people before us. And then I shuffled too hard and dropped my lemonade.
let us all shuffle too hard this year.
